How to Support Us

Sky Watch Civil Air Patrol in partnership with UK Air Search CIC is a registered charity/Community Interest Company aimed at helping the emergency services save lives, by using volunteer pilots and their aircraft for air search and air observation.

We invite experienced pilots to apply to join us.

First and foremost, we aim to ensure a safe operation and to maintain a zero accident performance. We therefore request experienced pilots to join our operational units.

We invite observers (whether or not they have a pilots license) to join us.

Whilst the pilot will focus on flying, navigating and communicating with air traffic control, an observer will be the "eyes in the sky" and operate the camera equipment on board, and in most cases handle communications with people on the ground.
