Geographical Area

The area is constrained to a triangle with the point being Whitby to the North, Brough to the South and Spurn Point to the East. The coastal area from Spurn Point back to Whitby is also included. This area is approximately 2436 square miles and includes the following.

The city of Hull
Eight large towns.
One hundred and twenty two villages.
Eighty one miles of coastline.
Thirty one miles of the river Humber.
A significant amount of open moorland and dense forestry is situated at the Northern end of the zone.
